Divine religions have been revealed for the purpose of human guidance and happiness so that human beings will not be distorted and deviated after following the divine values and laws. It seems that what is evident in the eyes of Muslim thinkers in the Islamic world is that Islam is the most important divine religion that has been revealed to organize and regulate human life in this world and the hereafter. Ayatollah Javadi Amoli as a thinker of the Islamic world considers the integration and interaction of religion and politics. According to this commentator of the Qur'an, the separation of religion from politics degrades religion and politics, so the interaction between the two causes the coherence and purposefulness of human life and keeps the Islamic Ummah safe from deviation and distortion. In the present study, the author intends to analyze the factors and contexts of the secularization of the Islamic government in the thought of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli using the method of content analysis. Findings of the research sho that In the view of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, issues such as distance from the Qur'an and non-recourse to the true Islamic principles, misinterpretations and following igo, avoidance of spiritual and efficient leadership are among factors of secularization of Islamic society.
