Cultural requirements of modern Islamic civilization from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei

Abstract
 
Islam school considers the formation of a government, which its roots have been built according to Islamic cultural values, as the most important axis in the life of the Muslims. Accordingly, the Islamic civilization is derived from The Holy Quran, Prophet's tradition and innocent imams and their statements and behavior. What we mean by Islamic civilization, is to create a comprehensive cultural-social system which its pillars and requirements are based on basics of Islam. This issue has received special attention from Supreme leader point of view. In this research, authors intend to use descriptive-analytical method to examine cultural elements and requirements that shape the new Islamic civilization in the Supreme leader's thought. The main question is : what are the cultural requirements that underlie the formation of the modern Islamic civilization from the perspective of the Supreme leader? Results show that cultural pivot and guideline, which are the most important factors in modern Islamic civilization, have four pillars of religion, rationality, ethics and knowledge. Proportionate and coordinated requirements are adopted from each of these pillars.
