The central questions of this study are: under what conditions did these movements emerge, what trajectory did their activities follow, and why did they ultimately face stagnation and decline? The findings indicate that factors such as an emphasis on Marxist praxis, tactical alliances with Islamic associations, the growing student population, and the relatively open political climate after the presidential election of 1997 facilitated their rise and influence. Conversely, the widespread arrests of December 2007 and internal schisms led to weakened cohesion and the eventual decline of these movements. Employing a descriptive-analytical method and drawing on library sources, interviews, statements, articles by former leftist activists, and internet searches, this study analyzes publications (such as Khak), organizations (such as the Dab group), key splits (labor-oriented and radical left), as well as their interactions with the Office for Strengthening Unity. در دهه ۱۳۸۰ خورشیدی، جریان‌های دانشجویی چپ با وجود گستردگی محدود، حضوری پررنگ در دانشگاه‌های ایران یافتند و از طریق تجمعات، تحصن‌ها و تأکید بر پراکسیس مارکسیستی توانستند بر فضای فکری و سیاسی دانشگاه‌ها اثرگذار شوند. مسئله اصلی این پژوهش آن است که این جریان‌ها تحت چه شرایطی شکل گرفتند، چه مسیری از فعالیت را طی کردند، و چرا در نهایت با رکود و انفعال مواجه شدند؟ یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد عواملی همچون تأکید بر عمل مارکسیستی، اتحادهای تاکتیکی با انجمن‌های اسلامی، افزایش جمعیت دانشجویی و فضای باز سیاسی پس از دوم خرداد ۱۳۷۶ زمینه‌ساز رشد و تأثیرگذاری آنان شد. در مقابل، بازداشت‌های گسترده آذر ۱۳۸۶ و انشعابات درونی موجب تضعیف انسجام و افول این جریان گردید. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و بر پایه منابع کتابخانه‌ای، مصاحبه‌ها، بیانیه‌ها، مقالات فعالان سابق چپ و جست‌وجوی اینترنتی، به تحلیل نشریات (خاک)، تشکل‌ها (گروه داب)، انشعابات کلیدی (چپ کارگری و رادیکال) و تعاملات آنان با دفتر تحکیم وحدت پرداخته است. http://www.irstudies.ir/article_245944_6a46a83129520c172f5eef42880ea952.pdf
